I had some pest problems in the back yard.
And my crossman just wasnt cutting it, the squirels were barely botherd by the gun. plus it wasnt so accurate.

i set out to wal mart, and bought a beeman 1073 on sale for 89 dollars. came with the .177 and .22 barrels and scope.

i put on the scope and got it sighted in. would stay in group about 3 shots, and then the group would raise about 3" up and 1" to the right.

i finally figured out the scope was moving,

I tightened it down, and went to work on sighting it in again. done good for about 20 shots, then it did the same thing. but i ran into a problem.

it seems my scope seems to not want to adjust anymore.

it groups farely well just about 3" high and 1" to the right.

anyone have any suggestions?

i ended up turning the scope a whole 90 degrees in the rings, using the windage adjuster as the elevation and the elevation as the windage, and it seems to be doing alot better.

im out of pellets and i think im going to try a little better brand then the daisy's i got at wal mart, they had ALOT of metal burrs in the can with them.
And alot of them had scruffs and grooves in the outside of the skirts.

my arm is getting a little tired from cocking it so much, im thinking of investing in a little higher end, c02 powered.

All of the Beeman 1xxx (1000 series) guns are generally crap- although better for accuracy out-of-the-box than most of their Crosman counterparts. That being said- I am no fan of the 1xxx series guns, and would buy a cheap Crosman and tune it before buying such a Beeman.

If it's only scope movement that is an issue- check the mounts and make sure they are tight, and perhaps try another manufacturers mounts or a different scope- if you got this scope with the gun, you can bet it's a 'Made in China' special and likely uses very minimalist, under-performing mounts.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good .22 cal c02 powered. was wanting something place a good shot in a squirel from about 10-20 yards, im not looking to spend more then 200 bucks on one. or a cheap c02 powered one i can upgrade to do the same thing
