I've had experiance with cheeper than dirt and it was plenty bad. We've arrived at the mutual understanding that they've already stolen all the money from me they can as the 'bait switch' deals don't work at all for me . . .
The Marksman pistol is based on the Beeman P3 / Weihrauch HW40 design. The chinese built Marksman pistol is hit or miss. I've had to rebuild one at least a dozen times in a year, and finally quit messing with it.
My nearly 20 year old P3 still shoots 410+ fps and is accurate as any match gun I've owned, just lighter and more compact. Compressing the chamber requires caution due to the fact it has multiple 'pinch points' in operating the compression cycle.

| It WAS the m2004 Marksman pistol that was a copy of the P3. Perhaps they've updated it and re-named it a '2006' now. If, however, the 2006 is anything like the Marksman 2005 pistol, I would be very wary- the 2005 was a complete POS and not useful in any capacity except as a door stop or wall decoration (the 2005 was a completely different setup than the m2004). |
