1) Target to download and print: Week 27; Mar/10>Mar/16/2008

Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 20 shots at targets, 2 per Caerbannog maximum.
5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using another print of the page.
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring is 10 points for the green, 3 points for gold and no points in the white.
Touching the edge of a colour counts for those points. Only two hits per Caerbannog counts. Maximum point count is 200.
9) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries- but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) This is an honorable contest for sport- if you lie or cheat, you are the only one who really loses. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others.

Was watching "Search for the Holy Grail" and thought we might have an even better solution than the "Holy Hand Grenade" here at AirGunHome.com Giant Grin

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As soon as I get my 4x32 scope to stop dancing Evil or Very Mad on top of my new
Hercules Model: B3 or Xisico/BAM B4B.22 whatever it is called Rolling Eyes
I will give another 20 shots at this target . Twisted Evil
The cylinder is grooved for scope so some of that blue threadlocker should do the trick.
5M, one-handed, open sights
RWS Club 10 - 7gr
11 min.
30/200 = 15% Shrug
What can I say? This was the target that I called "for score". The best practice was a 24, and I shot 6 of them.
Whatever Shrug
I was using my new Hercules Model: B3 or Xisico/BAM B4B.22 (whatever the name)
Standing offhand at 10 meters for 14 minutes and 59 seconds.
Score 46
I was aiming for the Rabbit of Caerbannog
not for the dots because
I could not see them at 33 feet anyway with my reading glasses on
so that I could see my front sight clearly.
I found Monty Pythons Wabbit difficult this week, very little target and a lot of white.
Date, Thursday 13 March
Weather, windy 12c
Winchester 94
Iron sight
Bisley pratice .177
10m
Score= 41
Hey all. Whew, that was a good one!
I just aimed for the greens, so I either got'em or I didn't. Because I had the target vertical instead of horizontal, it was major hit or miss with this one.
Gun: IZZY 46m
Pellet: RWS Match
Stance: One handed, 5 meters
Time: 8 mins
Score: 50/200 (wow, a whole 1/4 of the possible points!) Shocked
Great scores you all! See ya next week.
Woody61 used the LP1 to take first again with a score that would cause the holy hand grenade to be jealous and DW36 also makes the grade with the K58, while I {along with several others} had our bum nibbled off Shocked
