I got this air rifle new for $60 + tax + shipping.
The cylinder on this model is grooved for a scope.
The cocking effort on my bathroom scale is about 40 pounds.
The cocking handle has some rubber at the end of it for comfort.
The gun & scope weigh about 7 pounds / 3.4 Kg. on my bathroom scale.
The length of this rifle is 41 inches / 104 cm.
The trigger is a little heavy but predictable and it has a manual safety.
Both front and rear sight were off on the right side a bit,
it does not matter to me because I put a 4x32 Crosman scope on it.
I think mine shoots around 485 fps with Crosman pellets 14.3 gr.
As for the accuracy of this rifle: (Well I am no expert)
it is hold sensitive and the trigger been a bit on the heavy side
so the best that I can do consistently right now in a standing position offhand,
is to put all my shots within 1.25" circle for now.
The stock has a lots of finish on it,
the blueing is not the best
& the metal has a lot of sharp edges,
but for a $60 airgun what can I say "It is a good plinker for me."
Right side from above.
Right side from under.
Left side from above.
Left side from under.
Right side of the receiver.
Left side of the receiver.
Left side of the barrel.
Right side of the barrel.
Right side of the stock.
Left side of the stock.

I wish they were that cheap here.
485 fps isn't a lot. My Slavia, which cost me about the same, and after some decent lubing puts out a consistent 593 fps.
This, off course, was a used gun, but I use it for the same purpose. It's darn accurate as well, for a cheap plinker.
How is the sound? And with that I mean "Ploing!!!" or "Twock!"? |

In Canada they detuned them under500fps for Canadian airgun regulation. |

OK I took the scope is off, it needs a scope stop.
I got the sights lined-up and it works OK.
So far my 3 chinese airguns don't have a scope on them for one reason or the other.

In your experimenting with the B4-2- have you figured out if it's possible to attach a scope stop on the receiver? I have not pulled one apart to see if putting a screw through the top of the tube would interfere with anything, or if the tube itself is thick enough to hold a very short screw to avoid any interference issues. Anyone ever look at this, or is the B4-2 with an actual scope rail too new an item? |

I have a B4 the same as Under500 and when new it was exactly as Rene describes, it also shot to the left this was sorted out by cutting 30mm off the barrel and giving it a re-crown, the trigger needs a good polish along with the rest of the internals, and in the end you finish up with a gun that is fairly accurate but has a heavy trigger.
