Adult user looking to purchase a very first BB/Pellet pistol that is easy to learn how use around $100 or so. Hoping to get a realistic looking pistol that is not too loud (I have no idea how loud they are) easy to load etc. for a beginner. Shot non-CO2 ones as a kid but that was years ago.
Thanks for any advice I can get as once acclimated I would like to get more complicated set up. |

Look at something like a Crosman 2240 (Co2) or a 1377 (pump-up). The 2240 isn't the quietest, but is super-simple to use and accurate. |

Look at a Beeman P17. I have both the 2240 and the P17, and I more often reach for the P17. |

1) Load a Co2 caplet, 2) cock it, 3) release the safety, 4) pull the trigger to puncture the caplet, 5) load pellet, 6) cock it, 7) shoot, repeat steps 5-7 until Co2 runs out. |
