It's a break barrel, no frills, wood stock, no safety, .22 cal rifled pel rifle.
I picked it up pretty reasonable, #30 bucks, in nice shape.
Rifling is strong but I suspect the spring is pretty week.
It's o.k. accurate, about an inch or so at 20 yards.
Haven't done velocity over the chrono yet but guessing velocity with
14.3 Premiers is around 550 to 600 f.p.s.
Wonder if a new spring could be found for it?
It's branded as an ARROW with some chinese charcters.
I want to tear it down, relube, replace seals if I can find any.
Would any "O" ring that fits work o.k. I'm thinking hardware store
fawcet washer "O" rings if necessary.
It's too handy a little rifle to ignore and I'd like to get the speed up to 750 f.p.s. or so to use as a garden raiding rabbit and chipmonk getting.
Besids, it's fun to shoot open sights and watch tin cans roll.
Thoughts?

I haven't found too many of the older low-end Chinese products to be worth repairing.

However, if you are inclined to do a repair, an o-ring for the breech seal (with appropriate spacers) would work, the piston seal may be made out of leather, in which case I would suggest duplicating one from something you have laying around the house. O-ring around piston perimeter might work, but that would depend on the design of the rifle- i.e. would an o-ring be exposed to the cocking slot and possibly rip?

I think this rifle would be good to practice tearing one down.
For $30 bucks I haven't that much to loose should I screw it up.
It's in such good shape that I'd hate to let it go to the waste bin.
Beside my 15 year old fell in love with it as it's fun to shoot.
