I seen some people talking about a hammer debounce for getting more shots per fill.
I see everywhere that they had used 1/4 vinyl tubing, but there is nothing nowhere that explains how to install them.
I'm very new to airgun, and I'm needing very detailed instructions or pictures.
Does anyone know where I can find these instructions, or mind taking time to explain it to me. |

| Why do you believe you need a hammer de-bouncer? If you have reduced the transfer port size and weakened the hammer spring- there is unlikely to be any "bounce" to speak of. |

I never did weaken the hammer spring, since the data that rsterne provided shows that a Transfer Port with an ID of 0.094 combined with the stock spring shot around 750 FPS on the Chrony.
Since I am not very knowledgeable on airguns (and too cheap to pay someone to do it for me) I was afraid that weakening the spring would reduce the velocity even more, and since I don't have a Chrony I never did attempt it. |

If you're making modifications, using a Chrony is a "must" or you're only guessing.
You could avoid using a smaller transfer port, reduce the hammerspring tension (i.e. cut a couple coils or use an RVA from a 2300 or Challenger) and get the same output, no hammer bounce. |
