Mine is .177 caliber and about 15 years old.
I used it a lot especially in winter to stay in form for ofhand shooting
my powder handguns.
The valve stem will not longer pierce the gas cyl.
I suspect it's worn and not sharp any longer, perhaps even bent a tad.
Where can I get parts?
How do I disassemble the thing?
Can I increase it's muzzle velocity with some kind of modification?
It's an accurate pistol right out of the box with an o.k. but not great
trigger. Can I make the trigger better with a bit less take up, and make
it a bit smoother.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have had some luck getting manuals and parts schematics by E-Mailing Crosman customer service. They have sent me the manuals and parts info in pdf. format. (Adobe). However they seem weak on pistol info so don't be surprised if they don't have anything.

The E9A was replaced by the 'EB' pistols, same seal kit in all, which you can find here: http://airgunseals.com/product_info.php/benjamin-eb17eb22-seal-kit-p-906

You can get the schematic direct from Crosman's website:
https://support.crosman.com/hc/en-us/sections/200649600-Benjamin-and-Sheridan-Air-Pistols
Once you have a part number you can contact Crosman for the price. The design looks pretty similar to the 2240.
