I bought a Benjamin Titan NP .22 a couple weeks ago and man I can't seem to get a group to save my life...... at 10 Yards!! I'm getting Inch Groupings at 10 yards, sometimes even bigger.
I did notice when I first shot my gun, Smoke came pouring out the breech area.
I might need a new breech seal, but I really don't want to pay $10-15 for a seal.....
Could I just get a seal at like Lowes or Home Depot? |

Put some silicone oil in the transfer port to reduce detonation/eliminate the smoke more quickly.
Look up "artillery hold" on Google. |

In addition to ^^^^ clean the barrel; check scope & mounts to be sure
everything is tight.
If you have a scope & if so which scope.
Please look up "how to clean your a.g. for proper cleanign proceedures.
You don't say if you are new to a.g. shooting or what pels you are using.
Details, as much as you can put in a post would help us help you.
The artillery hold is a must do. (learn it)

It was the Seals in the gun, I went to Gander Mountain and returned for an Exchange.
The new gun can drive tacks, have yet to miss a target. Bagged about 5 squirrels in about an hour yesterday (I'm eating good tonight) , before I couldn't hit 1 in 5 hours |
