Thanks for the tip on using a pellet, never thought of that, I only have a gauge for the .22.

So rechecking using this method I scored 108/200.

I was only going on what you said about having a .22 gauge, when you shot the target using a .177.

If I got it wrong then I apologize. But you could have made it clearer.

Al

Holy crap- Al was making a joke- or at best a bit of a jab. The .177 on Mar and the .22 on under500fps may have fuzzed things up a bit- but no one was getting any serious trouble here...

Al is right, I could have been clearer in my statement, guess it didn't sound right and see where they may have thought like they did.

Hard to tell also if a joke was made or not at times.

It,s necessary to make a score correction. My post after a closer inspection, the score should be a Score of 49/200

Sorry about that.

Hi DW36
And welcome to the site, I hope you are enjoying the target shoot. You get good targets and bad, and this weeks target is difficult, but I think you have got the method of scoring wrong on the rifle target, the green dots are -1 point not 9 for a hit, from what I can make out you score should be
10
9
20
10
0
20
0
-2
9
-1
=75/200

Have a check on you target and see what you get it to.

I can't check you pistol target as it is to small, so have a look at that also.

No problem.

Al Thumb Up!

This target is a bit of a funny one- you need to hit the black to score the points! Green is a 'no-no'! Yikes!

For shooting this target,
I was aiming between the green dot and the black circle & with me shaking I hit the black circles just by pure luck. Laughing
That Norica Quick + the scope + the mount are around 9 pounds together,
so after a few minutes the shaking starts trust me on that one.

I was aiming for the green dot . If they said it was worth 20 points I would not have touched it.
That correction gave me a 39/200 on the pistol score.
I got the same count on the rifle, 75/200

Dudes,

OK, I'm not gonna bother scanning this one this week! Shocked

The Good News: A couple one hole groups, good grouping in general.

The Bad News: One hole groups, not on the black. Accidently clean shot out the green on one of the targets! Crying or Very sad

Stats:

Gun: IZZY 46m
Pellet: RWS Match
Stance: Standing, 5 meters, one hand
Time: 6 mins
Date: 2/10/08
Score: (drum roll!) 39/200

* I'm pleased with my groupings, but that's kind of where it ends! Very Happy

Thanks to all!

Looks like Rene {under500fps} takes another first with a score of 109 and Mar pulls off second with either a 108 or a 99 Twisted Evil
