Have owned Winchester Model 1000 (for a couple of years). For the money, I really like the gun with one exception, the trigger pull is absolutely awful.

Saw in another post that you can modify triggers for some guns with a kit from Charlie Da Tuna. Tried to find Charlie's email address but could not bring it up on my computer for some reason. Anybody know it?

Anybody know about my rifle, and have they modified the trigger with any success?

Also, have been reading reviews of air rifles and trigger pull seems to be the weakest part of a lot of air guns. What brands and models have superior trigger design?

Thanks,

Jim

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I would be interested in a trigger mod for my Winchester 1000 (Hatsan mod 55). What would it cost plus shipping?

Thanks,

Jim

WOW!!!!! Thanks kanyon! I took my old daisy apart and did some dremel work. Its like a new rifle! I cant wait to get her outside and see what I can really do. I used to take crows at 35-40 yards, of the top of phone poles with one shot with the old grungy trigger. with a little practice, I'm thinkin 50 yards will be easy. It shoots just like my beeman now. Thanks again!
