It's probably going to have to be a B-26 in .22. Next problem I got is that I don't want the thumbhole version. I have to order from Pyramid air, because the exporter that I deal with asks 50 bucks if I order it from anyone else.
Maybe I'll look into a used HW95/R9 over here in stead, or maybe the HW85... |

tough choice. i want the thumbhole now. i have the standard stock but the thumbhole is a much nicer feel. cw was right about the build of these. kinda like holding a ruger mini-14 in size /weight. very solid feel..... i'd have a hard time spending $500 on a beeman when the b-26 can be tuned. 16fpe is all you need..... |

As a matter of fact, a lot of people agree that in most cases, you only need 12 Fpe. |

I am getting the sporter stocked version in 177cal. I don't like the feel of thumbhole stocks. I am going to change out the trigger blade to a Rekord trigger blade. The 2 humps are closer together on the Rekord and that should give a more positive first and second stage. I read an article about tuning the B26 trigger and the difference in the 2 is the spacing of the contact 'lumps' that define the first and second stage. I am also going to see if my extra 177 R1 barrel will fit. That barrel shoots almost any pellet in a .20 cal hole at 20 yds! Custom guides and a Maccari seal with a full polish and lube job. I will keep you posted....... |

I'm looking into ordering a B-28. It's a clone of the 350 magnum, and I hope getting it in .22. If that doesn't work out, I might order a B-26 in .22.
That is, if I can get it over here cheaply. |
