i have two .177 850m air magnums.one for company and one for me.i can`t tell you how delighted i am with this rifle.a gift for 300.00 anyways and a trainer par excellance for when you want to go burn some powder.green giant cans at 150 feet most of the time and usually through one side.fill them with water and it will go right through at 100 feet,sometimes launching the can into some neat aerobatics.shooting it is almost like eating potato chips,can`t stop. By the way, I read your other post.

It should be fairely easy to convert the 850 to a PCP, but I'm not that sure about the details.

I'm more interested in refillable 88 Gr's.

Man- there's not alot to be found out there on AirMagnum 850 mods! I guess the gun hasn't been on the market for very long- and no one has really gotten serious about modding it (yet?). Sad/Cry

The only thing you want to mod is that thing where you attacht the airsource to. It's got rubber parts. Mine uses a different part. No leaking.

The trigger-group should be a bit tunable too.

I don't think you want to mod an 850 to much. It's a bit to expensive for that I think.

If you want to mod something about the 850, try to get a wooden stock. It'll look a lot better and I think you can get some great results with some nice design.

It's not hard to dettach the stock at all. 2 Imbus bolts are the only thing that keep it together. Remove them and your action will slide right out of the plastic.

i`ll probably just leave it and see what is around the corner.it is so handy with that 88 gram source as long as you have them around.when i bought the last 4 from ct that was it,they didn`t order any more.ssso sent me ten overnight from langley to castlegar.as for the stock,i would like to see something done with the forestock though;it kind of looks unimaginative the way it is hacked to shape there. Razz

i have been meaning to ask you about co2 removal.when it lets it`s last breath out there,does it freeze any rubber parts? do i lubricate anything here and is that what you call the valve Question

Yup, the rubber freezes and after a while it will cause leaking. That's why the previous owner replaced the valve. At least, I think we are talking about the valve. In my language we say ventile.

I think we have a misunderstanding.

Where you enter the airsource, where you screw it in, is that what is called the Valve?

And while talking about this, does anyone know about an exploded view of the 850? It's not anywhere where I can find it and the manual doesn't have one either.
