My 1077 mod

Here is a roughed out stock for it.

I thought the wood was cherry but it sure does smell like pine but its very hard so it might be longleaf pine which is supposed to pretty hard.

Yeah thats what I thought it should be . Dead center.

Wish I had a dovetail cutter for my mill, I would just mill it off but the Dremel and knife file should do the trick.

When you mount a scope it should be pretty dead center over the barrel correct?

Mine offsets the center of the barrel by as much as 1/8 of an inch.

the rifle is a Crosman 1077 and scope is 4x32A ...

Well a big thanx to Sniper for a good deal on his Crosman 1077. I had been eye'ing this rifle as it seemed especially easy to mod.

Update

Figured it out and received the second mold spring which was smaller than the first but way weaker. So i decided to use the first stronger spring, it fits in the tube but only with about .2 ...

So basically it can be done if we eliminate the valve?

I will be starting to mod a 1077 and I was going to build a custom stock for it and I thought it would be kool to house an additional C02 cart ...

Yeah donec if you look at the Paint pic of the firing mechanism. The dark blue part was initially going to cock it when it pulled back.
