the drilling of the muzzlecap did not seem to help.

i am not sure of my next step...but i am going to disassemble and replace the pistons seal, clean and de-burr...etc

Never a cheap Chinese springer again! Not sure about their PCP's. But regardless I sold my Benji Trail NP due to same thing, 3 shots on top of one another then the 4th and 5th would fly like a bird!

I don't think so. In fact mine felt smoother. Sold the gun because I could never get it zeroed in. The piston itself...........very nice.
