The Daisy pellet is coated with Graphite, You'll see alot of different lube's being used by pellet manufacturer's, some use a "Dry" coating(Krytech or a similar wax product)like Kovohute Dia ...

A stock 2250 w/ a 24" barrel should be running around 625-650fps without any other mod's, If you do anything else,,You should get yourself a Steel Breech, I would advise getting a Crosman Breech, ...
